*here's a simple Chicken Malai Boti recipe for you*:
Ingredients:
- 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons cream (malai)
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Skewers for grilling (wooden skewers soaked in water for 30 minutes or metal skewers)
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, cream, ginger-garlic paste, white pepper, garam masala, cumin, coriander, cardamom, nutmeg, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice, and oil. Mix well to form a marinade.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat them thoroughly. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate for at least 2-3 hours, or you can refrigerate it overnight for best results.
Preheat your grill or oven to a high temperature.
Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers.
Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char on the outside.
Serve hot with naan or roti, along with some mint chutney and fresh salad.
Enjoy your homemade Chicken Malai Boti!
